One again, this one may be a little redundant but it's one commonly overlooked. Many people attempt to continue their daily schedules when they feel a cold coming on. Stay Hydrated
Drink fluids, drink fluids, and drink fluids. Along with drinking warm beverages hydrating beverages as important as well. Because you lose fluids through sweating, urinating, and lack of food intake during a cold, it's important to replenish these. Hydrating beverages can very from sport drinks to some teas to build your fluids back up. However, water remains the number one thing to keep you hydrated. Health Central lists many other fluids to drink when trying to stay hydrated through a cold.
