Winter blues got you down?
People who have winter depression ((also known as seasonal affective disorder (SAD)) are very sensitive to the lack of light that occurs during the winter months.
I grew up in Arizona for the first 14 years of my life. This is one of the only states that doesn't have Daylight Savings Time. (Yes, it was awesome.) When I moved to Missouri when I was in high school. Daylight Savings Time came around and I was hit with winter depression. It is proven that taking a vacation to warmer climates helps with SAD.

Here are some things that Clint Brownfield of Reader's Digest thinks you should know before vacationing to our 50th state.
Hawaii has hundreds of beaches, with
red, black, green and white beaches. Hawaii has a beach for every person's style, whether it is a romantic get away, or a family vacation. The best part about Hawaii's beaches? They are free and open to everyone!
Leave your wintercoat in the car at the airport, you won't need it in Hawaii. When packing your suitcase, make sure you bring, a couple swimsuits, sandals, hats, shorts and tanktops. Also pack a nice outfit to wear at some of Hawaii's fancier restaurants.
If you are able to rent a car while in Hawaii, getting places will be much easier. With a car, sightseeing, shopping, and going to beaches further out will be much easier. You may only need to rent a car for a day or two. Explore the surrounding area of your hotel the other days you're in Hawaii!
Visit The Hawaiian Islands for more information on planning your trip to Hawaii. Aloha!
