3 Ways to Wind-Down before Finals this Weekend

Finals are on every college student's mind this week and the amount of stress you are feeling right now is probably really high. The tine for your hard work to pay off is almost here, so don't give up. If you desperately need a breather from studying this week, here are a three ways to treat yourself this weekend as you prepare for the last week in the semester.

1. Pig Out

Nothing cures a case of headaches from studying like awesome snacks. My favorite spot to go to for a study break is Insomnia Cookies. Go with friends or alone. No matter, who you're with you'll salivate over the delicious options and combinations of cookies.

2. Curl up with a good book.

The Shivering (Kindle Single) (A Vintage Short) by [Adichie, Chimamanda Ngozi]

I wish I had more time for reading the semester. It's an awesome way to open your mind and expand your knowledge. I plan on spending my winter break (maybe not all of it) curled up in a blanket and digesting some new literature. One book I've had my eye on is The Shivering by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

3. Volunteer for a good cause.

Volunteer for a non-profit to give back to the community. Nothing warms the heart and rejuvenated likes spending the time to make the world a better place. Whenever I want to volunteer, I visit
volunteermatch.org to find local opportunities to volunteer.
