Lack of Sleep Causing Increase in Motor Vehicle Accidents

Not getting all your beauty sleep can end up costing you more than just looks you could end up risking your life according a research study performed by AAA foundation.
The AAA Foundation has found that missing just one or two hours of sleep can increase the risk of motor vehicle accidents.


Missing out on more than that (four to five hours) can be like driving under the influence of alcohol.
Driving without sleep is called “sleeping impaired” according to study and the research has never been done before but is becoming more important with the recent increase in totaled accidents.
No sleep causes more severe accidents were the car becomes unable to be driven away.


But sleep causes more than just accidents lack of sleep can lead to issues such as motor skill problems, memory loss, and sickness.

Requirements on sleep can range from seven to fifteen hours a day depending on age.
