Just a few of the things that cauliflower can be made into is: mashed "potatoes," pizza, tater tots, fried rice, grilled cheese, and bread sticks. And there are many more, but I will not go into that. The process of making many of these products usually involves boiling the cauliflower and putting it into a food processor that chops it into tiny pieces and from there you can mash it or pack it to make different textures that mimic foods like mashed potatoes and pizza.
Of course there are many benefits to eating your vegetables in a day. For college students it may seem hard to get in your vegetables, especially when many of the recipes out there are not as delicious as the carb recipes we know of. But now that there is another option for college students to get their veggies in. So next time you are thinking of popping that frozen pizza in the oven, take a step back and consider getting your daily dose of veggies taken care of while also enjoying the food!
