The holidays never fail to expose the new trends, beautiful colors, and looks for women that fit the beautiful season. Red being the main popular color for everything this season,  it is so quick to pick up a cute red lipstick to complete your holiday outfit. However, it's so basic holiday and typical! I know you are tired of it! When you think of holiday makeup, you automatically think of red, but there are more popular versatile lipstick shades this year appropriate for the seasons.

The nude lip is my favorite. You've probably seen this shade a lot on Kylie Jenner. This shade goes with literally EVERYTHING! This is the new most popular shade for a multi-purpose lipstick. A really cute nude in the winter looks so beautiful next to holiday colors. The key to rocking the perfect nude is to make sure it compliments your skin tone. There are various shades. Kylie cosmetics have some of the most perfect nudes. For a cheaper route Nyx cosmetics also has the great soft matte lip cream nudes. I personally use the shade Abu Dhabi.

                                    

Dark lips have been a trend lately. Burgundy adds a little edge to your Holiday look. For some it may be too dark. If this is the case, I would recommend a Plum. These shades look really nice next to black, brown, white and nude outfits.

Of course red is a popular grab and go. If you just happened to believe Red is the only perfect shade. Challenge yourself to a different shade of red. Allow the shade to match your undertone. The warmer shades go more for the golden skin complexions.
