Key West: The Forgotten Vacation

We all dream of that one tropical vacation that we'll never want to leave. The one where we're on some foreign island, with our butt in the sand, and a fruity little umbrella drink in our hand. Well, I'm here to tell you that you don't have to travel to the Bahamas or Virgin Islands to get that relaxing vibe.

You'll have adventures to spare in tropical Key West and you'll feel like you've stepped into a whole new county altogether. With rich history, beaches to spare, and the mix of many cultures, there are a variety of activities that Trip Advisor places among their favorites. Our personal favorite? A snorkeling day experience at Dry Tortugas National Park followed by dinner right in the middle of all the action along Duval Street.

Where to Stay 

When looking for a place to stay in Key West, a hotel will suffice.... But if you want a true Key West experience we recommend staying in a bed and breakfast where you'll feel the true island hospitality. Not to mention, who wouldn't want to stay in one of the many brightly painted, victorian era homes the island has to offer. For the most comfortable stay, look at Key Wests top 20 bed and breakfasts. 

What to Eat

If you're looking for some authentic Key West food, there's not doubt you'll find it on every corner and then some. As previously 

mentioned, the island has a strong mix of many cultures ranging from european ones all the way to hispanic ones.
